Build Syntax (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a custom web development agency based in Beirut, Lebanon. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information you provide when interacting with our website, contact form, and newsletter.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you actively provide to us:

• Contact form submissions: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), project type, budget range, and message.
• Newsletter subscriptions: email address only.
• Standard server logs: IP address, browser user-agent, and request timestamps, retained briefly for security and rate-limiting.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to project inquiries and provide quotes.
• To send newsletter updates — only after you confirm your subscription (double opt-in).
• To improve our services based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of our forms.

4. Data Storage & Sharing

Your data is stored on secure servers managed by Build Syntax. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Where transactional email delivery requires a provider (e.g. SMTP service), we share only what is strictly required to deliver the message.

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) as a third-party processor to understand site usage in aggregate. Analytics runs only on our production website, and IP anonymization is enabled, so Google does not receive your full IP address from us. 5. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for session management (CSRF protection, flash messages). No cross-site advertising trackers are installed.

In production, Google Analytics 4 sets first-party _ga cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage in aggregate. These analytics cookies are used with IP anonymization enabled and are not used for advertising.
